1. Who We Are

RecoverHVAC is a missed call recovery and SMS lead qualification service for HVAC contractors, operated by Saami Abdul Samad (Chicago, IL). Website: hvacrecoverypro.com · Contact: saamiabdulsamad@gmail.com.

2. What Information We Collect

When a customer calls an HVAC contractor using our service and the call goes unanswered, we receive the caller's phone number via Twilio's call data. We also collect the content of any SMS messages that customer sends in reply to our automated text-back message.

We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or any other personal information unless voluntarily provided in an SMS reply.

3. How We Use This Information

We use collected phone numbers and message content solely to:

• Send a single automated SMS to the missed caller on behalf of the HVAC contractor
• Classify the urgency and nature of the HVAC service request
• Alert the HVAC contractor to the lead and its estimated value
• Track recovered revenue opportunities in a private dashboard accessible only to the contractor

We do not use this information for advertising, third-party marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the HVAC service request.

4. SMS Consent and Opt-Out

By calling an HVAC number using our system, customers implicitly consent to receive one automated follow-up SMS regarding their missed call. This is a customer care communication directly related to the service they were seeking.

Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. After an opt-out, no further messages will be sent to that number.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with any third parties except:

• Twilio — our SMS and voice provider, used to send and receive messages
• Supabase — our database provider, used to store call and message records securely
• The HVAC contractor on whose behalf the message was sent

6. Data Retention

Call and message records are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Contractors may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

7. Security

Data is stored in encrypted databases (Supabase) and transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the dashboard is protected by an API key provided only to the contractor.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing saamiabdulsamad@gmail.com. We will respond within 10 business days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
